Srinagar, Dec 27(KMW): Hurriyat Conference (M) Tuesday termed the consistency and resolve shown by the people of Kashmir in their struggle for right to self determination as exemplary and said for breaking the will of the people, the ruling class for the past few months had unleashed its forces to commit brutal acts of violence and indulge in barbaric measures martyring more than 100 persons and blinding hundreds others but added that the Kashmiris would not be cowed down as resistance was in every drop of their blood.
On the directions of APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, as number of delegations of the Hurriyat visited many areas of south Kashmir, north Kashmir and central Kashmir to express sympathy and solidarity with the families of the people martyred during the past few months termed the sacrifices of these martyrs as real assets of the ongoing resistance movement.
In this regard, a delegation led by Muhammad Musadiq Adil and comprising Abdul Majeed Wani and Mir Ghulam Rasool visited Kralpora, Munigam, Wagoora and Handwara, another delegation led by Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited Qazigund and Churk where two women and a man had been martyred while the APHC Chairman expressed sympathy and solidarity with the families of the martyrs over phone and promised them that their sacrifices would be safeguarded and not allowed to go waste.
Another delegation led by Engineer Hilal Ahmad War visited Batamaloo and Palpora Eidgah areas of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district and expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families of the martyred youth and conveyed the condolence message of the APHC Chairman and the unified resistance leadership with the bereaved families and said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people had once again brought international attention toward Kashmir issue and said the Hurriyat leadership was continuing their efforts toward its resolution.
Meanwhile, the delegation led by Muhammad Musadiq Adil visited north Kashmir’s Sopore residence of the Sopore Traders President Haji Muhammad Ashraf Gani and expressed grief and shock over the death of his mother and conveyed the condolence and solidarity message of the Mirwaiz with the family.
Later, Muhammad Musadiq Adil led delegation visited Nowpora Muqam and expressed sympathy and solidarity with senior Hurriyat leader Shakeel-ur-Rehman on the death of his cousin brother.
